Dr. Daniel Krashin attended the University of Michigan for both his undergraduate and medical studies, then completed a psychiatry residency at Tripler Army Medical Center in Honolulu. He served in the United States Army as a military psychiatrist before and after 9/11. In 2006 he joined the psychiatric faculty at the University of Washington. He has pursued board certification in Pain Medicine, Headache Medicine, and Addiction Medicine. His special interests include holistic management of headache and pain, along with improvement of stress, anxiety, and depression. Dr. Krashin uses all available medical approaches, including exercise, nutrition therapy, medications, biofeedback, procedures, cognitive-behavioral therapy and mindfulness. He makes an individualized treatment plan for each patient and believes that shared decision making and collaboration are the best way to heal.
